Riverside had a great week at the World Championships at Lake Aiguebelette in Southwest France.

– The US Lightweight Women’s Quad which was comprised entirely of Riverside members, Lauren Ayers, Mary Foster, Hillary Saeger and Erin Roberts and coached by Judith Vogel. They finished sixth in the A-final. (See photo above.)

– The US Lightweight Men’s Eight, in which two Riverside members, Tobin McGee and Peter Schmidt, were racing, came in third place – a bronze medal!

– The US Women’s Eight, in which two Riverside alumna, Lauren Schmetterling and Meg Musnicki raced, came in first place for a gold medal AND the tenth consecutive world championship for the USA Women’s Eight. An incredible feat.

We are SO proud of all our rowers who competed at the World Championships and we’re cheering on all our elite athletes as they continue to Row towards Rio!
